I'm Getting Too Old for this Shit

That's right, I said it.
I'll be missing my 5th game this season because of circumstances beyond my control. 3 games which either my left foot or my right foot were not ready for intensive hockey play. Considering the fact that my point production of late has been good means that I'm not out of shape, just up to my usual standard.
In other news, I might make the switch to the wordpress in the coming weeks for the sake of embracing new...I mean old technology. But always evolving.
There is no point in reinventing the wheel when dealing with coding. When we once had to create login systems, now we can devote our energies to more specific problems relating to a project.
My friends, it is now easier than ever to make your own website and for a very reasonable price. You can have your domain for the year for probably 10$ per year and then you need to get some hosting. I strongly recommend Greengeeks because the price is just great. You can have remote database access and SSH in a flash. Managing a website has never been easier.
But of course, the first step to designing a website is to have a development environment, you could spend the extra time to install apache, MySQL and PHP separately or install WAMP in one swift download.
You also want to test your website extensively on all browsers. Most major browsers don't cause any trouble. But we still need to make the website backwards compatible with IE7 to IE10. The only real way to properly do a QA of a website on those legacy broswers is to install Virtual Machines on Oracle VirtualBox. You will find all you need at Modern.ie
I hope this has been helpful. I just like to recap what I know to make sure I remember.
